Setting-up
the PFP software and loading your
first file.
Note: Whenever you see A:, B:, C:
or D: within this text, A: and B:
represent your possible floppy drives
within your computer and C: and D:
represent your possible hard disks
within your computer. If you only
have one (1) floppy drive, it is the
first drive in your computer and considered
A: - your hard disk would then be
considered C:.
A: and B: can be switched in any example
below to meet the needs of your computer
system.
C: and D: can be switched in any example
below to meet the needs of your computer
system.

SETUP AND OPENING YOUR FIRST CHART

OK. The file you described would be
file type, ASPEN GRAPHICS ASCII. do
this...
1. Press CTRL-D (hold down the control
key and tap the D key.
2. Click on DIRECTORY SETTINGS.
3. At the bottom right, click on your
file type.
4. Next, choose the proper directory
where your data files are located
5. If you are using ASCII type files,
click on DEFAULT FILE (the edit box)
and type in the filename options
- like *.prn or *.* or *.txt.
6. click on the DEFAULT Checkbox (below
the OK, CANCEL... buttons) then click
on OK.
Then try to load the file...
1. click on FILE
2. click on OPEN FILE TYPE
3. click on you data file type
Your data files should be shown in
the file list...
4. when you get there, double-click
on a file
It should load and show you a chart.
