How to check and modify the protection device.

Note: Whenever you see A:, B:, C: or D: within this text, A: and B: represent your possible floppy drives within your computer and C: and D: represent your possible hard disks within your computer. If you only have one (1) floppy drive, it is the first drive in your computer and considered A: - your hard disk would then be considered C:.

A: and B: can be switched in any example below to meet the needs of your computer system.

C: and D: can be switched in any example below to meet the needs of your computer system.

Checking the installs on the program disks and your hard drive.
----------------------


To check the remaining installs on the program disks and your hard drive we need to do the following:

Put disk #1 into drive A or B
Go to an A or B prompt
type CSFCHCK A: or B:
This should return with "Remaining Installs (000)" or (001) or (002).
If it returns (000), you are out if installs and will need to reset
your program disks.

From an A: or B: prompt
type CSFCHCK C: or D:
This should return with "Remaining Installs (000)" if there is an install
left on the hard drive.

If it returns ERROR 24, there are no installs on the hard drive.
