REVIEW - Putting the Pieces Together

Within the previous 9 lessons, investors have learned some of the most elementary and essential components of investing. Many of these techniques are simple to understand, others (like Candlesticks) are a bit more difficult to understand. I used to tell my clients that Investors are similar to Carpenters. Carpenters have many tools for the different types of woodworking required in completing their jobs. Investors are very similar because they use different types of tools to accomplish their job profiting in the markets.

One of the hardest parts of investing is knowing which signals to take and which signals to ignore. There is no Golden Rule when it comes to this problem. The PFP software application attempts to use its intelligence to gauge the probability of any potential signal and issue a signal. But, investors need to be aware of the types of investment techniques they should use to better understand and interpret the market. That is why I put together this section and these lessons.

The elementary concepts that are discussed herein are designed to assist the investor understand the price activity of the markets. Weve seen trending markets and congesting markets, the benefits of candlesticks and the benefits of the other investment techniques (such as the Trending Candle / Body Reversal system), and weve seen successful trades and non-successful trades. The bottom line is that not every trade will be a profitable trade and investors should use the techniques described herein to attempt to become more profitable.

Apply the techniques discussed herein and investors will quickly see how these methods will assist them in investing. Use the PFP software application and investors will quickly see how this application will teach them to recognize and understand the candlestick pattern formations. Learn to switch between an Aggressive Investor and a Conservative Investor as the market requires and investors will quickly learn how to adjust their trading style to the market and attempt to gain greater profits.
